Nope owner switched to a TH400 and ditched the 9" for a 12 bolt.

Drives just fine. Just as good as the old setup.

Customer has switched to a TH400, new converter(due to the TH400) and to my knowledge has not made any passes.

I urged him to run the car with the new cam with the same trans and converter to see the true gains from the cam, but he decided to swap the trans.

Update on the car.

Converter is a little too tight and will come back out.

9.7 with a lazy 1.39' letting out a little early on the 100 shot

Super Victor 4150 lost 40+ hp but gained about 20 tq? Or did I miss something?

Curious as well. I'm sure the cam was not spec'd for a single plane intake, unless he changed that too, but I wouldn't think simply switching intake/TB would negate 40+ HP.

So if he still had the old trans, would we see a big hp/tq increase, or not worth the work of changing intakes/tb's over?

In this case we will never know since a back to back test was not performed.

No idea. Always keep in mind if it's strong and reliable it probably sucks power.

It's a large power loss usually.

I just wanted to show the power numbers after the TH400 and SV were added and how it shifted the HP peak up.

Looks like he'll be shifting around 7500rpm now instead of 7200rpm before.
