numbers wont be accurate. in any tranny you want the 1:1 gear, which is 4th on the m6 as stated.

4th. mosts manuals whether 5 or 6 sp are 1:1 in 4th. in a 5sp 5th is OD and in a 6pd 5 and 6 are OD.

Exactly. Thats why with the M6 the 6th gear is .50:1 giving it 34mpg, even with a cam. From what i hear autos only get 26-28mpg.

Those are some really low dyno numbers. I guess that was stock along time ago.

He dynoed 245hp/281tq in 3rd gear, what would that likely be in 4th?

nope that was car bought 3 weeks ago and strapped down. car with 94k on the clock all stock. engine temp to operating temps (190-205). hood closed on the 250 numbers. after all that's the way you drive it. i later changed plugs and wires and got 10 more hp.

4th the gear because it is 1:1 ratio, weather 5 speed or 6 speed.

Hard to say. Could be another 10 to 25 more. Most likely in the high 250's. and closer to 300ft-lbs.
