You'll hit 420 with a true dual or bullets off the headers, I ditched my y put bullets off headers picked up 3 tenths and 3 mph but my heads were ported

How much louder did the car get with the bullets? Right now the car is still my daily driver so I don't want to go insane!

Take it to the track...you might be find the car does better than what the dyno suggests

Nice setup. Ive always like setups that produce similar torque and HP numbers. Kinda like a "mini" stroker.

I wouldnt say those numbers are out of line. Those stock 243 heads are good for 15-20rwhp by themselves.

This is the perfect example of a long, sweeping torque curve. I bet she rips on the street...congrats man!

How much do you think the 243 heads are contributing to that torque curve guys?

As it is all up to the combination & setup.

I really wouldn't expect the tq to be that high in a 347, w/ 243 heads, & a cam w/ 9.5* of overlap. Reminds me of a stroker as well.

In 30th t/a's sig he had matching #'s with an LS6 cam in an LQ4. My #'s were very close with my GT2-3 cam in my 347, which is -23.5* overlap, at 421/417.

Just seems a bit odd.

We will see with the trap speed. I saw a car recently on here that dyno'ed in the 485/428 range and it only trapped 119.xx. Is that way off for a full weight f-body hard top?

What was the DA?
What was the race weight?
How experienced was the driver?

Alot of factors could be playing a role in the lower than expected mph.

I've seen very similar powered full weight f-body cars trap around that speed as well. Not uncommon at all around here, but that just tells me that not all dynos read equal

485whp and 119 trap is way off if the air was decent. Just think C6 zo6's trap 124-126 with 430-440whp in stock form.

Ironically enough I saw a bone stock C6 Z06 trap 120 a few years back

That was probably 1 in a 100...in general they trap north of 124.
