Fixed that for you.

4.0007" bore with a 4" piston would cause a ******* **** ton on piston slap and only the way a hack would put an engine together or a poor man.
So why does anyone sell a 4" LS piston genius? WTF do you think they're going in?

Lol,ok Mr "I read it on the internet so it must be true"

Get some life experience and we'll talk.

A well know and respected vendor has verified this is a factory piston.

You're using a caliper not a mic. Please go away Mr. "real life experience."

So with all of your real life experience no one ever explained the difference between a mic and a caliper to you?

Lol and now we know why. This kid posts some stupid **** that he knows will turn into a pissing match just so that he can earn the required 50 posts and be able to make a for sale thread.

Coincidence that he posts a huge FS thread shortly after getting to 50 posts using a stupid argumentative thread? I think not.

Jimbob, I didn't have to develop any film in a darkroom. They have these new fangled digital cameras and such. You can take pictures and post them within a couple of minutes. Crazy, I know.

It's surprising the amount of people who think a ls2 is a 4" bore.....
There's a minute difference in the piston rings from a ls2 to a lq9.
Ls2 means the aluminum 6.0 block itself.
Just like there is no such thing as an iron ls1.
It's a bored 4.8/5.3 to 5.7. Still not an "ls1"

You need to chill out. There's nothing wrong with arguing and debating, but childish name calling is a no go here.

A caliper and micrometer are two different things. Micrometers are typically more precise and more repeatable.

The 6L truck bore specs are 4.0007- 4.0014 and the LS2 is 4.0007-4.0017. And I do believe high limit size pistons are available from GM.

Uhh, subscribing to the OP...

I think you'll be lucky to get much past 400rwhp because of the auto and the AWD. Interesting combo though. Is the cam on Phil's "high mileage" lobes?

Did you know the contents of a thread only become visible when they're clicked on? I pass over threads that I'm not interested in reading and the contents don't display. It sounds crazy but it's true.
