Default tr 224 cam only

Hey guys. I am about to do a cam swap with the tr224 cam. With the mods in my sig and good tuning what kinda of power can I expect with the tr224 cam. I will not be doing heads.

360-370 i would guess. the cats will hold you back some. i would install a cutout in the i pipe that would help alot. ls1 edit tuning too! good luck!

360-370 at the wheels? If that is so then I will be very happy with this cam.

wait... no verter, no intake , with cats?
chances are you will be lucky to make 350....

without a verter this thing is gonna be real shaky at stop lights....

I put down 353 RWHP with an unlocked converter. That was with the TR 224/224 cam only with Thunders mail in tunning. I would take a wild guess hat with your mods you would be around the same as was only because you have a stock converter

I put down around 360 rwhp with close to the same setup that you have except I had a 2800 stall converter and a TSP 224R. I think you will be closer to 350 rwhp. Still not too bad.

You have an M6. They dyno higher than an A4.

:edit: my torque was 422 rwtq @ 2800 rpms.

I know that but I didn't think it was that much of a difference

My car has FIPK, QTP LT's, QTP ypipe w/ cats, GMMG and a custom tune.

When I posted those numbers I had a guy tell me that they were low??

I"m not trying to be an ***... just was a little confused

422 rwtq?? you mean 322 dont you brandon? if your car is making that much trq then i cant wait to see you run w/ your drag radials instead of street tires. have you been back to the track since you got your tune ? oh we are going to peidmont this sunday, 27 th. jason is at the beach but should be home in time to go. see ya.

LOL Yeah it is making that much torque. Here is my dyno sheet.

I haven't had a chance to get back to the track. I wish I could go this weekend but i am hopefully putting some springs and shocks on my car. Also, my drag radials haven't come in yet. They are still on back order. I am hoping for 12.1's or at worst 12.2's without anything breaking.

damn thats alot of torque down low. i bet it feels good as hell of the line. no wonder you left me in the dust at peidmont. you are waiting on those bfg's i bet. a guy at work has been waiting too. i think i would just get the new mickey thompson and call it. oh i am going to get a cam before too much longer but im having a hard time deciding. if you had it to do all over again which one would you go with? im leaning towards the g5x3 . but i dont know if it will be to radical for an daily driver. these guys on here say not but i want to see one in person. well good luck w/ the springs and shocks. see ya later

Yeah, I'm waiting for BFG's.
If I had it to do all over again I would have gone with a larger cam. I think I will have to upgrade my cam if I get a good set of heads.
