Another what will it make thread C6Z
I'm only making this thread since my car wont be to a shop till 2nd week of September. I will give a little break down of what I have now and what it made.
First of the car is a 2006 C6Z converted to an auto (6l80e)
When I bought the car it had
Hand ported heads and milled
Phantom cam by lethal racing 228/248 114
Morel Tie-Bar lifter
Ported ls7 intake and TB
Kooks 1 7/8 headers
Kooks catted x pipe
Muffler mod
Killer Bee cai
And of course a 6l80e swap 2800 stall
I bought it that way and had it dynod that setup made
470/440 on a mustang dyno
Then I added
Ported fast intake
Nick Williams 102 tb
QTP electric cutouts
removed cats
Corsa Mufflers
That put me at 500/450
Added a flex sensor for e85
Ended up with 522/460 I thought was pretty decent for a auto on a mustang dyno picked up a shitload in the mid range.
Now that puts me at my new setup which will have
A forged ERL 447
Trickflow 260 heads ported and done up by Tony mamo nothing but the best
Solid roller cam 252/266 113+1
MSD intake ported by tony mamo
ATI 10% under drive pulley
Circle D torque convertor 4000 stall
Halltech 108 cai intake
Dewitts radiator
Katech ported oil pump
Walbro 450 e85 pump
Weld RTS 18x4.5 upfront 17x11 rears
M&H drag radial 325/45 R17
I think that's it! Final compression ratio will be at 13.5:1.
Since I'm already at 522rwhp on a mustang dyno I would ideally like to be at 600 rwhp but the more important numbers are the track numbers I hope to pull off a 9 sec quarter all motor then ill be happy.

Thanks quys I'm not going to lie its a handful now being the 2006 was the lightest c6z. The thing is the forged internals will weigh more over the stock interals so I know that will cost a tad bit of hp. I am currently at 11.3 cr so bumping that up to 13.5, plus more cubic inches, better heads and a solid roller will be close. I posted my previous numbers so people wouldn't think its a happy dyno which I don't think it is. Al I'm waiting on now is erl to finish the short block.

Well did not hit 600 rwhp but I am still pretty happy. I made 582 rwhp and 505 rwtq and this is on a mustang dyno through a auto.
Just for a comparison there was a c5z06 on the dyno last we. He had a 440 ls7 swapped into his ls7r cam, 12.2 cr, fast 102 intake 1 7/8th headers etc ect. he made 540 rwhp so needless to say I am actually pretty happy.
I think next year if I feel like spending more money on it I will get some American racing headers they seem to make more hp that the kooks, and and electric water pump. I think those to together plus more with the engine brok in I will see 600 rwhp. My tuner said that is very impressive for his dyno and I should stil be happy even thou I didn't hit 600.

Look at that thread if you wonder why I want to switch to amercan racing headers. My car has the same dip at 3500 and a gto that just got off the same dyno lst week does to. So people if you are considering Kooks or American racing go with American racing headers. I am going to do a comparison next year to see if this will change my numbers.

Yeah its going to fly I should be getting it back wednesday. my tuner said they also finished up a zl1 camaro which they ported the blower, added e85, smaller pulley 15# of boost full kooks exhaust and I made just as much hp as him. I'm done with it for this year I'm definitely swapping out the kooks headers and doing the electric water pump next year. I'm pretty sure we will be right at 600 rwhp.
I'm happy my tuner is happy and tony mamo is happy .

Almost 4 years later here I am again car has been running flawlessly. Only change in that time was a electric water pump and vacuum pump. I have a few goodies ordered. Picked up 10 rwhp and 10 rwtq
I ordered a low profile billet intake hoping it does better than the msd which it should. Got some crower rockers brand new in box 300 off from a forum member. I'm getting rid of that yella Terra junk. Then a mighty mouse catch can and new valve springs
My tuner says this should be carrying the power better than what it is for a solid roller. I've seen 4 ppl now swap out the yella Terra and pick up significant power. I really hope I have the same results. I'll be posting those results in about a month just waiting all the intake it's 3 weeks out.

Thanks I'll post as soon I get results. I was really set on some Frankenstein 710s different cam and more compression but I don't really want to spend that kind of money now. Just hoping this Frankenstein billet intake Carry's the power better. They claim I'll make more than I ever did with a msd. We shall see.

So I got the rockers yesterday just from a visual stand point they really seem like a better rocker than the yella Terras on the car now. Let's hope I'm right cause I've heard nothing but good things about these compared to the YT's. The spring kit will be here Thursday then i just have to wait for the intake manifold which is supposed to be here 2 weeks from Monday.
Getting pretty excited about this I have a goal of 620 rwhp I hope I can make that but not so sure on this dyno.

Did you go with the roller tip option? 1.8 ratio?
Roller tip option actually makes for less weight over the nose according to Crower. I ran Crower rockers in my super late model engines and had had a local company custom build us aluminum shaft setups for our pro late model engines for weight reduction. The Crower stuff is nice and I’d love to know the nose weight compared to the YT stuff.

No I did not the closest 1/4 is about 200 miles away and working 6 days a week almost year round limits that. I will though. Depending how this set up turns out and what cash flow I have I want to get the 4l65e In this spring. It's better for drag racing according to rpm transmission.
I put 20 cars on a stock hellcat I had a 165 lb passenger. Had a few other races with slower cars nothing to exciting.
I wanna do some weight reduction yet too about 150 lbs from where at now. I'm getting a draggy in acouple weeks for my bday so I'll see what that tells me.
