Looks like power was still climbing. Did you do any other runs to a higher RPM?

Power was still climbing but I had requested a conservative tune.

Not bad! I also wish you went a little higher in the RPMs, with an 02' block 6800 isn't anything crazy so I'd at least go that far. Should be a fun car that drives well on the street!

What are the cam specs, if you don't mind?

Thanks all. I was following DarthV8rs post "Ghost Hawk" and was impressed with his build when I decided to start my build a while back. He doesn't have a car anymore, that thing is a wild beast! But all in all the car drives great. The only thing I'm going to change is the clutch and tires and that's pretty much final on this thing. Got to pick up a 2012-2014 ZL1 those things dropped in price quite a bit.

That is on a Mustang dyno so the numbers will be a little lower than those on a Dynojet.

Darth I should have phrased that better lol. I meant with all that you've put into it it's one big mean machine. I'm still itching to get that RPS clutch you have.

Gotcha! I re-read it and it makes sense now. And thanks for the kind words for sure!

You'll like the lighter clutch. Lots of guys will poo-poo them, but I found it really woke the car up due to lighter MOI. If you want to see a REALLY light clutch, check out this in the manual trans section by RedBird555:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...l#post18993478

Thing probably snaps to 4000 rpm with a quick blip of the throttle instantly. The caveat is that they are trickier to tune for idle. A heavy clutch is inertia, which dampens alot of surging that can otherwise happen. A lighter clutch will expose any weaknesses in your idle tuning and surge more until you get it settled down again.

Anyway, a lighter clutch combined with some lighter wheels and good tires will really surprise you how suddenly fast the car feels.

And that S60 is going to dyno lower - especially on 4.10 gearing.

Sorry guys, I'm not good at communicating. I was expecting you all to be mind readers. The complete mod list is as follows:

Engine:
-LS1 stock bottom end
-Compression 11.5:1 Running 91 Octane
-MMS 223's w PAC .630 lift springs
-Yella Terra Rockers
-Johnson Link Bar short travel lifters
-Mamo Ported Oil pump
-Manton custom length push rods
-Cam 227/234
-ATI Harmonic Balancer 25% UD
-Cometic Head gasket
-Mamofied Fast 102 Intake manifold
-Nick Williams 102 Throttle body
-OEM LS3 fuel rail kit
-FIC flow matched LS1 36# injectors
-Racetronix 255 fuel pump with hot wire kit
-Lingenfelter 100MM MAF
-SLP lid
-LS2 water pump

Exhaust:
Kooks 1 3/4 race headers
Kooks Y pipe to borla catback

Stock T56 with Monster stage 2 and Tick master clutch cylinder

Strange s60 with 4.10 S trac ( I nearly got a hernia lifting that thing into place when I swapped out the 10 bolt for the s60)

Suspension:
Koni Yellow Single adjustable with Hotchkis 1" drop springs
All bushings replaced with Moog bushings
Strano front and rear sway bars
UMI rear LCA

Little things here and there but thats the brunt of it. I just wanted a nice weekend street car without a car payment. I'm happy with how it all came out. I can squeeze a few ponies upgrading my headers and exhaust but I'm gonna leave it the way it is. Also, thanks to everyone that helped me with all my questions and all the vendors. Had a good experience.

Guys,

Thought I would chime in here quickly

Excellent results thru that driveline and a conservative tune....not to mention on the CMS Mustang dyno which is known to be a bit stingy with the numbers (no different than most Mustang dyno's in a general sense).

The curves look perfect.....both TQ and HP and as others pointed out its still climbing!

That thing is going to run into the rev limiter something awful if you have it set at 6700 or lower....you will witness that in person soon enough!

It hung out peak torque for over 1000 RPM's.....that is a seriously impressive feat.

Congrats on the numbers and enjoy the new ride!

-Tony

PS....Bump the rev limit to at least 6900 or your head is going to lunge forward in the lower gears banging off the limiter!

I'll ask again since no one answered my question; what were the numbers? The graph won't show up onthe mobile version.
