C5Z w/ Streetsweeper HT Cam Dyno Results - 436rwhp/415rwtq SAE
Posting this up for anyone who may be considering this cam in the future. I put the car on the dyno today and it exceeded my expectations. Numbers are 436rwhp and 415rwtq SAE on a Dynojet dyno. Car made 350rwtq at just 2,200 RPM. Tuning done by Complete Street Performance and the drivability is excellent.
Car:
2003 Corvette Z06
Mods:
Vararam CAI
Ported stock TB
Kooks 1-3/4" LTs
O/R x-pipe
Factory Ti exhaust with bypass mod
ATI 10% UD harmonic balancer
FTI Streetsweeper HT cam (228/232 .614/.601 111 LSA)
.040 Cometic head gaskets
I am running my factory LS6 intake manifold and heads and they are both 100% untouched.

I did the cam and I also tossed on thinner .040 Cometic head gaskets to tighten the quench and get a little more compression and that was it. I left the heads, intake manifold and bottom end alone. In hindsight, for all the time I spent just to swap the head gaskets for probably like a 5rwhp gain I really should of had the heads ported or at least gotten a competition valve job. Live and learn.

LOL. The name came from my all black ‘95 Formula that I owned back when I signed up for tech many many moons ago. Nothing stealthy about my current cars whatsoever haha.
BTW, I forgot to add to my original post that my stock 28.8lb LS6 injectors hit 100% duty cycle on the dyno way up in the rev range and hit 102% on the street way up in the rev range during street tuning. I did not intend on making as much power as I did which is why I didn’t upgrade them prior to the tune so I would advise others to consider doing so. I’ve read in the past that 430-440rwhp seems to be the max on stock LS6 injectors and I can essentially confirm that.
