Mustang dynos are very stingy. I've seen stroker LS motors struggle to clear 500 rwhp on a mustang dyno.

What rpm did he stop at? With 405 torque i would think the horsepower would be higher.

A dyno graph would be very helpful!

here is a copy of the dyno sheet. said he found a burnt plug wire after the pull and was already off the dyno so the numbers should be a little higher.

Something seems very off. And there is quite a bit of tuning left in it it looks like.

Did i read that right of 75# injectors? Im guessing boost later?

Starting the dyno run so late causes the graph to look odd, but so does the forced scale.

they are resized truck injectors he had on hand. said the stock ones were maxed out at 5000 rpm. was not really thrilled with the tune. torque seemed to drop off like a rock.

75lb on a stock engine is a waste esp a resized stock inj.
Id go somewhere else and get some 8.1l or 5.3l fle fuel injectors and have it retuned and dynod.
Slowhawk may be in your neck of the woods.

i think the numbers are very good with that small cam,on a dynojet it would be close to 400rwhp.i bet it has alot of usable power

this is the first time on a dyno. is it normal for the torque to drop so fast? most dyno sheets i have looked at are totally different not such a extreme drop.

No. It's not.

100% agreed.

I would go with something like 42LB injectors. But that's just me.

On a truck the flex fuel 5.3 inj or the 8.1l inj are plenty for quite a bit of power and drop in.
