Default New dyno numbers for my H/C/SBE A8 Camaro. 587/519rw

Well, I finally got the car back on the dyno after the new trans, converter and injectors. I also re-ported my MSD and switched from the stock plugs to NGK LTrIX 6's. I don't think the plugs helped. They haven't in the past over stock plugs. I forgot I swapped them. Still my ported heads and STG 3 cam. Cut out's were closed.

Very nice. Why not try with the cutout open?

In all honesty I pulled the plug. The car is pushing water. It has had a bad head bolt since I put it all back together. It finally came back to bite me today. So I cut the session off. I keep the cut outs closed till I am done with my tuning so the WB reads. Once I am all done with the tuning I open the cut out and get the last 3-5rw.

Makes sense. Think you'll pull over 600 hp with them open?

That thing's making some awesome power. I think it'd be close, if not, to 600+ with exhaust open also.

Nice job pray! Any chance of lifting the limiter to see how it carries past peak?

Thanks guys. I was hitting the mph limiter, not the rpm limiter. I thought about raising them but decided against it. I did some 5th gear pulls but past 6,400 the cam phaser loses control and the cam retards 2*. When that happens I get 7*-10* of spark retard for some reason as well. So that costs me quite a bit past that. I will post a graph in a sec of the 5th gear pull.

With where the cut outs ended up they are only worth 3-5rw. I am going to rework the exhaust track at some point.

5th gear. you can see where the phaser retards and the KR starts. The motor is on a tear and just lays over due to it.

This is 5th vs. 6th gear. Who knows what it would make if it had been allowed to continue to run.
