WS6Store High Lift ASA Dyno Results are IN!!
I think this is the first dyno results for WS6Store's new high lift ASA Cam.
Here's the peak numbers up front: 430.0rwhp/418.7rwtq
Now for the details. I never went with this cam looking for peak numbers, I was looking for over 350 torque from 3000 - 6000 rpm because I road race the car. Well the build did exactly what I hoped it would, here's the build details, graphs, and dyno run:
Motor:
LS6 block w/ SBE (ARP main/rod bolts, king bearings)
Improved Racing crank scraper
243 heads (stock w/ steel valves) milled .030
Stock rockers (trunion upgrade)
BTR .660 lift dual springs
High lift ASA Cam (226.5/236 .600/.600 110+3)
LS6 Intake (unported)
42Lb injectors
Stock throttle body
Delphi MAF
SLP Lid w/ K&N filter
Pacesetter 1 3/4" LTs
Pacesetter ORY to open cutout to Magnaflow catback
25% under drive pulley
Powertrain:
Stock T56 w/ LS7 clutch
3.5" PST chromemoly driveshaft
MWC Fab 9" rear w/ Strange aluminum center section (4.11 gears)
31 spline axles
WS6 wheels
Pulls were on a Dynocom 7500 Dyno, it was about 50 degrees out. I wasn't sure how the dyno was calibrated so we also put our stock (K&N drop-in only) 2014 Chevy SS (LS3, auto) on the dyno to get an idea of how stingy/generous the dyno was (graphs attached). The SS put down an average of 355rwhp/370rwtq. That seems to be in the upper end of the ballpark for stock SS sedans.
In the end, I'm very happy with this cam and pleasantly surprised with the peak numbers (especially torque). It drives fantastic on the street and really seems to have power everywhere in the RPM band. As an aside, the mail order tune I pulled in with made 410/402 (comparison graph attached), so David Katz at EFI Specialties in Fredericksburg, VA, was able to get another 20hp/16tq over the mail order. Well worth the money!! Dude did an awesome job!!
Here's the video of the final pull:

Sacramento Raceway is a "Happy" track, trap speed wise
Often 2-3 MPH Faster then Sonoma Raceway, which is
An Official NHRA Sanctioned track and pretty fast
With good DA close to sea level and cool at night.
I don't know but suspect the trap might be shorter at
The end of the track @ sac Raceway.

Regardless... it should be a fairly good comparison between my TR224 cam only LS1 and my current build. The only difference between them is the motor and weather, but that should even be fairly close. I ran my 12.2@113 in November several years ago. So March should be pretty close to the same DA.

Thanks!! It was definitely built on a budget from a HP perspective because i knew i was putting about a grand in it to make sure i didn't have any oiling issues on the road course. Apparently though... that crank scraper can add about 10hp... so it basically cancels out the 9".

Do you plan on running at Dominion or VIR? I live over in Fburg as well! Typically go to the DQ on Friday evenings when they start up off 208.

Summit point over dominion any day of the week! Dominion is not forgiving in my opinion. Good numbers and it should be a fun car.
