That isn't a huge cam. I was expecting more intake duration but the lift is quite high. I'm assuming some type of shaft rocker is being used.

It really is a mild cam and the higher lift is typical on LLSRs because you can get away with it. Quite different than your typical hydraulic.

MD has way too much user input to account for. Corrected Dynojet numbers are the standard when it comes to comparing numbers.

Watch the vid.....not that it matters. You'll have something else stupid to say.

IDK....the h/c set up we did to phils c6 ls3 got spun to 8200 on oe rod bolts. I did use a better rod bolt on these gen4 rods. But only because it was apart already.

Cam specs below

...It's pulling through the entire rpm range and just kept climbing. Very nice power and torque curve for an LS1 and well done sir..

Yea that's what he told me after warm up. Crazy how much they grow and how it affects the cam size.

Are you saying at operating temp the cam gets smaller?

No, the cam acts smaller when engine gets to operating temp. It’s the nature of setting valve lash with this style cam.

Aluminum blocks and heads grow more than steel pushrods. More lash when warm....

I've got a cool 243 head combo wrapping up this summer.
6.2 with forged pistons and rods
Cartek 4x 243 heads with titanium intake valves and sodium exhaust.
24X/25X .650/.650 114
Ported MAMO Fast 102 - most likely will change.
14.1 compression on E

Hell yea.....should be nasty af. Post up your results when you get them!

I probably would shy away from the fast intake and use something for more rpm tho.

What kind of power are you hoping for? 580-600?

Are you talking when using a solid lifter? A hydraulic lifter should compensate for additional block growth shouldn't it?

One would think so. The only variation in cam timing should be with a solid lifter. Not looking back now, but wasn't that the subject way above here?
Edit- I THINK a low lash solid setup was being discussed earlier here. Might be the reason I said what I did.
