Do my dyno numbers seem right?

Default Do my dyno numbers seem right?

Mods:
Patriot Performance Stage 2 5.3L heads
Patriot Performance Gold Valve Springs
TSP 232/228 .595/.588 112LSA cam
TSP Clear induction lid
Pacesetter LT's
Pacesetter ORP
Manley Hardened pushrods
TI retainers
LS6 Intake
AMW Catch Can
3" Cutout

Ok, I got this on the mustang dyno:
383rwhp / 346rwtq

Someone local dyno'd on the same MD then went to a dyno jet, I used his numbers to calculate what mine would be (he had very similar mods). I know it's not totally accurate, but I am pretty damn sure my numbers would be close...
420rwhp / 372rwtq

To me, my tq seems really low. I don't know if it's the reverse split or what. I was considering going bigger cam like the g5x2? I saw some dyno graphs of it and the tq is right up there with the hp.

I also would like to do the following mods on my setup to help it out a little, but I doubt it will make a huge diff.
Ported TB, ASP UD pulley, true duals.

Previous to the ls6 intake & cutout, I trapped 112MPH, I don't really see this combo doing 120mph+ which is where I would like my car.

What are your suggestions for me?

If you realy want to compare numbers take it to a dynojet and get the numbers. There is to many variables to just guess at what the numbers would be. Just dyno it a see, then you have a way to compare with other cars

dude you have a nice setup.. that cam and heads are pretty good and im guessing you will be right around 420RWHP i wouldnt change that if i were you.. and mustang dynos are really great i personaly dont like them just find a dynojet and see what you get.

I promise you'd sleep alot better at night if you'd just find a dynojet and make a few pulls on it. Anything else is just a guess, and that's not worth ****.

I know what you guys are saying, but a local guy just did the same thing, and I really would put $ on it that my numbers come close to what I have posted. So let's say they do, are they on or off?

One of the main reasons I am concerned is because a guy i knew took his g5x2 cam only, bolt on car to the same MD, and ran 401rwhp/370ishrwtq. If thats a cam only dyno, where the hell is my power?

p.s. I do plan on doing a dynojet run sometime here in the near future...just got some stuff to pay off first.

My friend just did the same numbers with his cam only 99 t/a m6 g5x2 401/375 at eastside. Thats with no pulley or ported tb or cutout on 19 inch ssr rims.
That is a great cam that is a well proven performer

Some mustang dynos read the same as dynojets. its all in how they are setup. But thats a friggen boatload of power

you can argue about the differences all year long but until you put your car on the dynojet you are not going to know what it does. bottom line is that no 2 cars are gonna dyno the same and niether are 2 dynos. so i would not worry about what your buddies car did with the same mods you did cause you and him will most likely not run the same numbers. dyno yours and find out the facts on YOUR car so that way you know.

Most don't want to guesstamate. If those are your true numbers, then yes, the torque seems low. It looks as if there is a exaust restriction, but from your mods, there shouldn't be. I've never been a fan of reverse split cams in the first place. I still don't see why people put them in there cars. Personally, I'd have gone with the X2 or something similar with a foward split. Keeping your intake duration the same, in the case that you swap in a X2, would prolly keep your peak HP the same, but your low-end power and your torque should come up a good bit.

You mentioned exhaust restriction, you think the headers or the rest of the setup?

I think reverse splits suck too. I went from a TSP231/237 making 451rwhp 404rwtq to a 232/230 reverse a few months back and only made 435/402rwtq. The 231/237 numbers didn't have an electric wp or ported TB while the reverse split cam did.. so I lost 20rwhp with that cam.
