Default Mustang Dyno numbers 260rwhp 260ft.lbs

My car has a loud mouth, slp lid and a 3400 2.0 midwest converter(3.23 gears). I was hoping for around 260-270 so I was pretty happy. Do mustang numbers need to be corrected? It was hot and hmid out that day.

My car has run a best of 103mph at the track. I know its low but stock it only trapped 99-100.
It made max hp at 5500 and max torque at 4500.

What do stock LS1s usually do on a mustang? I know a 98 A4 should be good for around 280-290 on a dynojet.

My mom's bone stock 98 A4 C5 did 250 rwhp.

Another LS1 A4 with 3500 stall(2.73) did 310. He had long tubes,exhaust, LS6 intake and lid.

Mustang numbers can be harsh. Not bad. It is hard to compare w/ a dynojet.

We have a Mustang Dyno at school....stock my car made 280hp/295tq. After a lid, 3.73s, LPE GT2-3 cam, NGK TR55s, and new plug wires it did 295/295...

I have no new dyno numbers with the TR224, Midwest 3500, and JetHot long tubes...but I would say it would put down 350-360 on a dynojet now.

on a dynotjet i made 315hp then i went about 2 miles down the road about 2 hours later and did it on the mustang dyno and made 274hp that was with a lid and exhaust on my 98 SS.

But then i got headers and made 312 hp on the dynojet :O(

With headers, intake, lid and TB, on my 98 I did 336 on a Mustang Dyno.

I felt a slight loss on the low end after the header install. I think I'm
needing a mild cam now. Interesting comparison on the dyno results.

of course everyone says you need a tune thats fine and dandy but i see others put up great numbers after a header install without a tune for the mone i did not expect to drop 3 hp but i have yet to take it to the track im gonna try that and see whats up because it does feel faster (sometimes) but why the drop in numbers who knows thats my luck with cars
