I'm serious.. lost 5hp and the FIPK made it harder to tune, something about the turbulence caused by the FIPK.

Don't believe me? Send me the shipping costs and I'll send it to you- then you can lose 5hp as soon as you close the hood.

Could you be more specific? What was your exact setup before the FIPK? Was this on a bolt-on or H/C car or what? Is this a 5 hp loss over the stock lid or an aftermarket one? Did you change anything else?

And don't bother sending me one: if you check my sig you'll see I already have one. It came with the car, so I'm wondering if it would be in my interests to change it out.

Good thing we don't race at idle.

I gained an average of 7rwhp/3 rwtq with the FIPK(just boltons).

I did a test a few years ago when it came out,it's still on my car today.

What does idle have to do with anything?

Car had an SLP lid, which cracked- replaced with FIPK.

Dyno'ed car with hood open and then with hood closed, back to back.

Lost 5hp and the FIPK also gave NoGo some aggravation- because it caused turbulence and the MAF was freaking out.

Replaced FIPK with a lid.. 5hp back. Simple.

Car was H/C (Absolute Stage .05 w/ 222/222 563/563) making around 405hp.

Tried drilling the radiator support and even the underside of the hood- to no avail.
