Default Speed Inc. 231/237 Cam Results

Got my car dynoed. It's a cam only car with Hooker Long tubes no cats, True duals out the rear and LS6 intake. Pretty much all bolt ons except for pulley and on 18's. Cam specs are 231/237 .589/.595 112 LSA from Speed Inc (SI5) . I am really happy with the results. I know with a pulley I'll be well over 400 rwhp. I can't believe how much torque I got to the wheels.

Good numbers. I think is pretty cool how they ripped off the "TSP 231/237" cam too

it's a little different from the TSP but not much. TSP lift .595/.589 Speed Inc. lift .589/.595 some duration and Lobe seperation though.

I wonder if the lobes are similar?
The speedinc 231/237 seems to make better tq.

yes, did the work my self. I was real happy with the torque numbers. I've seen alot of H/C set up's not getting as much torque.

You would have been right around 400 rwhp if you would have pulled it another 200-300 RPM...the curve was still headed up. Good numbers.

Awesome dude. I have a very similar Comp Cam (230/236 .598/.595 112) that I still need to get dynoed, I guess I'll be very close to 400rwhp just like you hopefully!

TSP's lift is actually .598/.595.

Gomer... Why do you say it is cool that the cam was more / less copied?

Lastly, what was all the bad stuff said about the cam? I had one when they first cam out. If I remember correctly, Gomer did around 450 with one and I did 448 with 410 torque. I never had any problems with mine and thought that it was one of the best cams on the market at the time.
