Default "Nastysupaspt's setup" 439.04whp &390.78wtq w/ video on dyno

I'm posting this for "nastysupaspt". We went to the dyno and tuned his new setup. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I set the tune set to have a max of 25* of timing at WOT. It didn't like any more than that. I set the afr to 12.8 pretty much the entire pull until 5800rpms where it goes to 13.25. All around a pretty conservative tune. First pull was 421.3whp & 373.5wtq. All pulls were made through the exhaust(car doesn't have cutouts) and without cats. I used HP tuners for the tuning.

He is getting ready to order his FAST 90/90 combo so this should be another 450hp ls1. We also went to the track tonight. On street tires he pulled a 12.7@119mph. Feel free to chime in on your own car Damian.

The car and mods are as follows.

02 Camaro SS
Stock rear
Stock gears
Stock TB
SLP's "LS6 style" 6.0L truck heads
Comp 236/236 .595/.595 112lsa cam
SLP maf
Hooker longtubes w/ ORY pipe
Corsa exhaust
MTI lid/filter
ASP pully

pretty good numbers...get a ported TB and a cut-out and 450-455rwhp would happen i bet.
Ive heard its hard to tune w/ those SLP mafs, that true?

Thanks wicked, and your right about the next mods. He is going to do the 90/90 setup and then some dumps under the car. I figure between those two it should be good for 460whp.

As far as the maf, I know there are two different styles. I had the same SLP maf but mine had a different resistor value and it was a bitch to tune. I finally ened up removing it because it made me run rich at part throttle and lean up top. I put the stock maf back on and all my problems went away.

yo doug thanxs for posting that video and the dyno graph. I think that SLP deserves a little more respect after this set up. When i ran that time last night that was on a stock rear end, street tires and shifting it very slowly thru the gears. So i know the car has more in it. Once again Doug thanxs for the post and helping me tune the car. Cheers to that

Thanxs guys. Yea i've got Drag Radials for the rear but i took them off because i don't wanna break the rear end right now. Kinda tight on money after this set up. Thats how i spun the stock clutch out the first time i put them on and that was only with bolt on's before the H/C set up. But the 12 bolt Moser rear end is coming soon. Just not sure on what gears to go with 373 or 411. What do u guys think?

4.30's and a 27-28 inch tall tire

anything less is useless on an M6 car
