Unbelievable dyno from Vinci programmer
I can't believe it myself but 3 weeks ago I dynoed on a dynomite dyno and put down 358/365 SAE corrected.Needless to say I was dissappointed and could feel and see on the graph a loss of pull at 5300 to 6500.I logged several times since and had good LFT's but O2's in the 970 range at WOT with the LFT's zeroing,25* timing.I knew the car had more because of the low 12 passes it had last year with a slipping clutch, nittos and 10 bolt.
I had a vinci programmer come in Monday and loaded the #3 cam tune and drove it about 80 miles,as I have stated it made an amazing transformation in the driveability of the car from idle to WOT.LFT's stayed at -2 and once again zeroed with the O2's at 930,timing at 25* still.I bumped the timing up 10% and eagerly awaited my wideband dyno runs today.
The car has SLP lid,polished/descreened stock MAF,home ported T-body.LS6 intake,ASP pulley,B-1 cam with 221/221/.570/.570/114,918 springs,kooks headers w/ORY
magnaflow CB,moser 12 bolt/w 4.10's,ram stage 4 clutch, steel driveshaft and convopros w/MT drag radials. It put down a freakin 415 RWHP/402 RWTQ SAE corrected,I'm ecstatic.I have the graphs from both dynos and need someone to post them if they want. This was the same dyno for both with near the same weather.I even had a AFR of 12.16 so theres more in it,I didn't get a wideband last time.Very cool

I had a mailorder from speed,I didn't know how good it could be untill I installed the vinci.Looking back now after the mailorder tune,I realize my best ET's where before it was done and the LS6 intake I added AFTER the mailorder netted no ET/MPH.
P.S. Small cams ROCK.

Those are rather high numbers for a 221 cam, no heads, no pulley, no cutout, and running through a 12-bolt. I hate to sound negative, but are you sure that dyno was reading right? I'm guessing with heads and a pulley you might push 415 rwhp normally. As you are, you should be 380 tops. Maybe a wee bit higher, if its a freak.
Just sounds high.

I have a pulley,I forgot to list it.How do I know if the dyno was working right? I know 3 weeks ago the car was lazy from 5300-6500 and had a noticable change in the exhaust note and made 358/365.Yesterday it pulled clean, fast and loud to 6500.I find it hard to believe myself but the dyno operator assured me its straight up and I definately feel the increase in power after the programmer.I just want mid-high 11's this year.
