Default LS1 Dyno Results

I recently had my 2000 Trans Am M6 dynoed (mustang dyno)

It made 333 rwhp and 340 torque

Only mods are SLP Cold Air, SLP Loudmouth exhaust

?????

I thought stock LS1's in F-Bodys only make about 320 flywheel hp

Anybody else have dyno numbers with similar mods?

Hello, and welcome to 1998! The LS1 in camaros is basically the same as the LS1 in 'Vettes, you're looking at 300-320 RWHP across the board for almost all LS1's.

I put down 330whp/340wtq with a lid and Mangaflow catback, supprised myself too but I guess it does happen.. except I did it on a dynojet, you in reality you proabably made even a little more power than I did!

GM Lied about HP, they didnt wanna say our cars had the same power as the Vette which is rated at the flywheel. I think our numbers by GM where average rwhp (in 98 Z/28 where rated 305hp and Vettes where 345hp)

He has only got a cat back and lid and made 330hp and 340tq. I made the same hp but about 14 more torque and iv got long tubes, trueduals, ud pulley, and a custom tune.

The ls1s start at around 300 or so. With those mods you should about 20 higher. Actually the mustang dyno can be corrected to read like a dynojet.

This is encouraging. I'm glad I'm swapping in an LS1 and got rid of the 355 in my Monza.

Wow, that's some sick *** numbers. I just dynoed 351whp/341wtq in my car, which has Z06 cam, HP Tuned, lid, pulley, catback, and TBB. Great numbers. My only guess is that it may have a cam in it that you don't know about.
