Default SAE 339hp 360 tq stock heads/cam

stock 345 hp pkg...... Mods are as follows: SLP ported/polished tb, SLP MAF, SLP Loudmouth, NGK TR55s, MSD 8.5 super conductors, QTP longtubes with AIR fittinngs, QTP catted y-pipe, and custom tune on 91 octane pump gas. Don't know how to post pics or i would post up the graph....but the install of the headers, y-pipe, plugs, and wires was done at Speedtek in Haltom City, Texas.....tune by Chris Robinson. HP was about what i expected, but i was really impressed with the torque and i don't even have a pully yet!!!! Next stop: cam, springs, etc. & underdrive crank pully......

is that an m6 or an auto?

the tq looks good but hp is a bit low for a 2002 if its a m6

my 2002 ws6 with loudmouth and lid did 331hp 334TQ

with the qtps i would expect a lil more power but every car is different

yo i did not see that you also had a custom tune also
i would definatly think with a tune with longtubes around 350
qtp are some of the best headers out there and i would think that you would get about 15-20hp from them
it would have been easier if you would have gotten a baseline

maybe the people who tuned it dont know how to tune for the biger 85mm maf i know that it can be a problem sometimes for many tuners

i bet that if you put your stock tune back and stock maf you will make the same or more power then you are now

yeah probably.....he told me he tuned it for a stock maf......so i told him i would probably finish polishing my stock one and put it on.....but do i really need to do that or can i get it tuned for the larger maf....or is what i've heard from so many places that the bigger mafs are useless true???

right now i have a stock maf with 75mm maf ends and the car runs good with the tune i have. its much easier to tune then an 85mm maf. i would have stayed stock ends and screened but wanted to try them out. i might switch back and see how it runs. i say until you put a fast 90mm on there stick to the stock maf and keep the screens in in your case.

i kinda messed up the screen taking it out to polish the ends....i can't put it back in.....will it do any harm to run it without the screen, cuz i heard something about k&n filters not being real friendly to descreened mafs??

i ahve a k&n and have no problems
you just dont go crazy with the oil hahaha
you can clean it with a q-tip and alcohol from time to time but i ahve not dont this

still the stock maf even without the screen for you is much better then what you have now
