Well I took the car back to the dyno to see how the gear and converter swap effected my dyno #'s. I went from 3.73's and a 4400 to 4.30's and a 4800. Here are the results.
Before with 3.73's and TCI SSF 4400 UNLOCKED.

After with 4.30's and Yank PT 4800 UNLOCKED.

After with 4.30's and Yank PT 4800 LOCKED.

I thought the hp and tq were supposed to cross at 5250 rpm????? Is there something wrong with the new graphs?

nothin wrong with the dyno or the converter.. theres an option in WinPEP that once selected crosses the graph properly.. tell your dyno operater to select -Force Scaling- then all your graphs will cross at their mathmatically correct 5252.
nice numbers!

I seriously think the 4.30 gears lost the 23 hp from 380 to 356.8. I never got the chance to lock the 4400 with the 3.73 gears, but I figured it to be around 420- 425 rwhp locked.
Tally TransAm - if the scales are off then wouldn't the peak #'s be lower also? That doesn't seem right. Maybe it is hell the engine let go the same day at the track.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too concerned about the dyno numbers. You ran 11.0 @ 121 and hopefully will be in the 10's now with the gears and converter. That's all that matters. As long as you don't run worse at the track, it doesn't matter what it dyno's. That car is moving btw, hope I can get mine in the low 11's @ 120-ish.
