Default TSP 233/239 + new LS6 intake Dyno #'s

Got the car dyno tuned today with the new LS6 intake, Big thanks goes out to Jeremy Formato For spending a lot of time on my car and putting a kick *** tune on it, also big thanks to Race Related for staying open till 10pm on a friday night for me!

I'm very happy with the results, the LS6 intake gave me good gains, better than some had anticipated.

This first graph is before and after the ls6 intake.

.

then, we dynoed on the nitrous, picked up 16 rwhp from the ls6 intake with no changes in jet sizes, but then I decided to jet up to gain a little bit more power and here are the results.

.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!

so has anyone else with this same cam on stock heads made more power than me N/A?

I'm not gonna waste my money on a ported TB and an underdrive pulley, but i wonder what it would give me 9-10 more rwhp?

I would easily be over 400 with that intake.
How bout u pull it off and donate it to
the United Hugger Go Fast Fund?

Thanx for the pm.

I made 385/373
with stock TB, Intake, and Pulley.

But I wanna go the path of Havoc and spray it befor I
do those boltons.
Hmmmm
few hundred for 100 shot and easy 11's
or
few hundred for boltons and low 12's

great gain man, i cannot wait till
i get a few supporting mods for this cam!!

Maybe just remove the power steering all together, If you can live with using a little muscle to turn it you can save weight and gain power and its free.

I'm right at about the same power as you with ls1 intake, but I have the g5x3 cam.
I'm orfering some 59cc afr's along with the fast set up here pretty soon. cant wait to see those numbers.

I did 418rwhp/394rwtq with that cam and full bolt ons with the tune way out of wack. this cam will put down some great numbers if given the supporting mods.

[QUOTE=00RedWs6]Im going to be running 100 dry shot, do I need a tune for that on a bolton car? QUOTE]

It would be in your best interest to get a dyno tune. If $ is tight, you can just dyno it on a dyno that has wide band and keep an eye on your air fuel ratio, and if all is well, you wont have to get a tune.

back on topic.

Hey hoavoc, 01 WS6, stock 241 heads, same cam, R1 i think though, i put down 433/402 at the wheels so it is possible. on a dyno day, when it was in the mid 80's hella humid, i was like the 15 or so guy to pull and it still put down 406 hp and 390 Tq. I've been runnin consistant 11.9X @ 116.XX with it, but i need gears BAD, i'm about 300 rpm shy of coming across the line in 3rd! damn 373's. i'm gonna jump up to 4.30's here soon and hopefully that'll net me .2 or so. The secret to this cam seems to be exhaust. the better flowing, the more you gain. I've upped my dyno chart, but took out the company's name, i hear mod's have heart attacks if you post something that isn't from a sponsor
Oh, i've got a ported TB, stock MAF, MTI clear lid, smoothe bellows, LS6 intake obviously, Hooker long tubes, 3" duals, X-Pipe for my engine mod's.
