Default Car after cam + tune

I have an 02 SS (M6) which had basic boltons, lid, long tubes, loudmouth, pulley ... untuned dyon'ed 335rwhp/347rwtq

I had a TR224 /114 cam installed and the car dyno tuned and it put out
385rwhp / 381rwtq

Man, the car sounds almost like it did before the cam & tune ... I had LTs and a LM so it was pretty loud. On the street the car feels about the same but when I got on the freeway at WOT .... man oh man ... it felt great ... This was due to the tuning done by Synergy Motorsports, one of the sponsors here. It was tuned on a Dynapak machine ...

Nice numbers. How does the cam affect driveability like when your idling around a parking lot in low gear at 800rpms? Does it buck and surge a bit? Just curious. I want a cam but I don't want bad manners. Oh yeah, what rpm does the hp peak at?

Idles around 900rpm ... there's some lope, but not very pronounced. Just driving it around town (35-45mph) you can't tell a difference, maybe a tad louder.

What you are talking about is the ability to tune at any RPM. If you have the dyno to it, then you can fix these areas.

Yup. I just can't get over how it handles itself at lower rpm's .. At first when I left the shop, I was like "wow, what a whimpy cam ..." LOL .. but as I said before, when you want to, it will come alive!!!

This seems to be the trend wiht Rick's tuning on the Dynapak ...
