Default TNT 200 Shot +Stock LS1!!

So yesterday I threw in the 200 jets and dyno'd. The outcome was good, with 602RWHP and 610RWTQ. A/F was right around 10.5. Not too bad for a stock LS1 with a cam. I'm happy overall.

if you have a cam, you are not stock - and based on your n/a numbers, you have more than a cam

Hes a cam only car dude, if you dont understand that means then you need to do some more research. Cam only usually means cam, boltons, exhaust. NO OTHER INTERNAL MODS.

Great numbers man

Wow those are some sweet numbers, and give the guy a break, he wrote stock LS1 obviously meaning stock bottom end, not completely stock engine...

Seriously bro, title says TNT 200 shot + stock LS1. Stock = no mods on his LS1.

Very misleading; I'm sure he meant stock bottom end.

Great numbers man
there are plenty of people who dive headfirst in putting cams into cars without supporting mods - having a cam doesn't mean having supporting boltons

a "cam only" car making 414hp n/a usually means they have headers, intake lid, and catback in addition to the cam. with that much power the other stuff is implied.

Cam only LS1 with all the bolt ons and n2o. Stock bottom end, and stock heads.

I am running the Walbro 255 pump and TSP MS3 cam.

Hopefully I'll get more vids up soon. It's been kinda slow here lately.

Nice numbers.

I pity your ringlands though. Ask me how I know.

You'd be wise to either build the bottom end or not spray that much.

Nice numbers!

Are you using TNT's recommended jetting for the 200 shot (28F, 51N)?

Agreed! Putting down the power on a chassis dyno doesn't lug the motor near as hard as being on the road. A 200 shot on top of a strong cam-only set-up is going to take some serious tuning (reduced timing, fatter afr) to make it last on the street. Those stock pistons are very fragile...like glass at that kind of cylinder pressure. Have fun, but remember the difference between the street and the dyno.

Blah. It'll hold for a while. My roommate sprayed a 200 shot on a stock 98 shortblock for 2 1/2 years. His secret?......TUNING

Keep the thing tuned, dont spin it too high, and it'll last a while. Not a "long" while, but it'll last for a minute.

Kick *** #'s, I bet that thing feels like a rocket shoved up your *** on the 200's

I'm only making 491hp here in Abq, so I figure it'll last a while. And I know the rear is weak, but I don't launch very hard and most of my races are roll races.

There are some birdies talking saying that you think you have a 10 sec car? This true?

The 124mph trap on a 2.2 60' definitely leaves a lot of room for improvment and a 10 sec slip.
