Default Stock head, T-Rex/G5X?/Magic Stick etc.

What are the highest dyno cam only results?
I am really looking for Automatic cars.
A friend just made some great power through a powerglide and I want to see how his number compair.
He was using a large cam with a 4500 stall, 12 bolt, power glide and stock 2002 LS1 heads and made between 405-425 *(Not sure if I am allowed to tell the exact number.)
I see the Cam only records but they dont list dyno numbers so hopefully some of those guys will chime in.
Please provide a little info, like converter, locked or unlocked, gear, tire, type of dyno.
thanks

Not dyno numbers, but you can get a close indication using math to figure power:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/187330-fastest-cam-only-cars-list.html < this is a sticky under Drag Results. Hope that helps.

I know what the cars are running but am trying to compair their track times to their dyno numbers so we can see a guess at to what this car will run.
With the low race weights and huge gears/verters it is hard to compair track times. Plus I am just curious as to what kind of power these big cams make in auto's.

Mine Dynoed 380hp unlocked through a 4l60e, 4400 stall,3.73 gears, 8.8 rear, and T-Rex cam. I added 4.30 gears and upgraded to a 4800 stall and it put down 405hp locked the day it spun the bearings

The new motor is going in with the same setup. Hopefully it will be better soon

Gonna need a bigger converter and different gears from the shakedown runs, but I am excited and have never even seen the car before. Looks like 10.2 is the current record.

I don't think TTP's #'s are freakishly high. If my car had the stock 10 bolt, gears, and a 3500-3600 converter I sure it would be around 430+ hp locked. Then add a Fast 90/90 setup on top of that.

How much for the complete cam install with supporting valve train components without tuning? Don't wanna do the tune until I have headers or I'll get the headers first and then go with your cam. Now I gotta sell the cam you sold me.

I'll put that cam up for sale in the for sale section now.

You really should state that these are with a LOCKED converter not to mislead people.

These numbers are awsome. I must really be missing something . It took me a crazy set of ported 6.0 liter heads ( milled ofcourse ) and a r1 232/236 cam to get to 433rwhp through my a4 with a 10 bolt. I thought it was pretty damn good. Then I see 440 #`s on stock heads and I gotta say what am I doing wrong. **** even my friend JFM only makes 430 ish hp witha 10 bolt and his a4 and thats with max ported 5.3`s and a g5x3, ewp etc. his car runs 10.6 so he doesnt care about the dyno numbers. But I just dont get it. I must need to take the short bus to work for the next week can someone explain what we are doing wrong? Anyone ? BTW my numbers were locked

I have searched my *** off and it looks like the trex cam only cars are seeing 405-410 rwhp. How big of a cam would it really take to get 430-450 cam only
