Maybe this is the wrong place to ask, but I wanted some responses. I made a bet with a Mustang GT owner to buy the other persons dyno run if I didn't put down 350rwhp with my mods (me and my big mouth blurted out an estimated hp #) Then I told him I expect 330-350rwhp and a high 12. He insisted that stock LS1's have 280-290rwhp and ran high 13's. So, with my mods (in sig) what kind of numbers can I expect? and should I take the bet?
Car is a A4 99 Z28.

I would bet that without proper tuning you will dyno 320 with your mods. Let us know what happens. That mustang will dyno only 240 so you'll stilll be on top even if it doesn't match your #'s don't match your hopes.

So...open cutout I should be close to 350rwhp? or 330? I have no idea if the car has been DYNO TUNED, is there a way to find out?

If not it won't matter if its been tuned in the past or not. It'll need doing again.
And for some reason tuning seems to be one thing people don't like to do, they'll spend $1000+ on mods then not pay $400 for a tune then complain that their dyno numbers are low.

I would recommend you get it dyno tuned, as it will tell you what your numbers are and get the car running right. A good tune could be worth an easy 10-20rwhp maybe more if you car is running pig rich (well you don't know it might be).
Do remember dyno numbers have no bearing on any real out put, its the graph that matters. A Dynojet may read your car at +10 to 20 rwhp over a Mustang dyno. But this is just how the read and calculate it. Your car will be producing the SAME amount of power regardless.

I have a buddy with a 99 TA. Similar mods as you, lid, LTs, catback, and a few odds and ends such as pulley and vig converter and he put down 13.05 on a shitty day at the track. Id say thats close to around 330 rwhp and his tranny was going down the tubes. Good luck!

I put down 317hp with mods in sig and that was down here in TX with an average ambient temperature of 106F!!!! My buddy put down 344 with a cutout and MAF and some other free mods and ****. Your car better put down more then just 10 hp over my setup, if not, something is up with your LT's or you need a tune in the worst way.

I say 330rwhp is at best, this is an a4, has ls1 intake manifold, and has 3.73s. On a good night at the track I could see this running high 12s. And as has been said, dyno numbers vary alot from dyno to dyno.
