FAST 90/90 results on Z06
I finally got my 2004 Z06 on the dyno here is my old post: //www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=292558&highlight=mcneil141
I have added a FAST 90 intake and a LS2 TB (both ported by me), and a two tip Borla Stinger exhaust. My old numbers 430rwhp and 404rwtq corrected, yesterday I made 455rwhp and 413rwtq corrected, on the same dyno, at 12.9 flat across the board.
I guess this is one more piece of evidence that the 90/90 makes more power.
BTW, I am using the stock injectors and hit 100% duty cycle
. Should I buy 36 or 42's? I think I'm done with modifying the engine

How hard was the LS2 TB to tune for idle and part throttle driving???
I am using SVO 30#s and have had no problems. I have hit a max of 74%, duty cycle at 450rwhp(sae). You will be fine with them!
...congrats
The LS2 started right up with no problems. I have the smallest bit of surge at 1800, but I will solve it eventually (some of that may be left from incomplete tuning from the cam). I read that the LS2 gives up a few ponies over the NW unit, but the drivability is great. Most would never know I changed something.
When you get the FAST, you will see what needs work ..sharp edges, flash lines, and some protrusions. I also completely port matched the lower half, placing the unit on the heads, then removing, grinding and sanding to match. I finished up by wet sanding everything I could reach. I spent quite a bit of time on it, but that's how I relax.
BTW, my FAST was NOT warped and I have no complaints. Be sure to order new manifold gaskets.
The FAST is well worth the money. I bet you make at least 20rwhp. My first pull with no tuning was 447rwhp which is 17rwhp over where I started (remember that I added Borlas, too).
Thanks for the info, I will order the SVO's tomorrow.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Andy

(From what I hear) the exhaust change is mostly for sound, maybe a few rwhp. The stock Ti system flows pretty well. Sounds good though....
I studied my duty cycle from my dyno pulls.. I am *just* under 100% duty. I think the SVO 30's will be perfect.
Keep in mind that my gains were over an LS6 intake and stock TB.
