Default TSP MS3 Dyno, + 100shot.

Here are the dyno results, a couple pictures, and a video of the nitrous dyno pull. The spike at the beginning of the nitrous is because my purge solenoid is broke and the new on hasnt came yet. he cut it off a little early also since it was manual because the window switch isnt in yet either. Over all not too bad for a 96k stock bottom end. Sorry for the sound in the video the car is crazy loud and we were inside and my camera sucks for videos.

video.... http://www.atldragracing.com/100shot.mov

I was suprised to see that the baseline was almost 400.. 398.7 or something like that. Made okay WOT power, but drivability sucked, its better now, and you can tell the a/f is better.

3.42's are stock in a manual car.. you have an automatic rearend, or was the car originally an automatic?

I didnt know/think gears would have any power reduction issues. I understand if it is a larger rearend you can lose power but not gears.

Great numbers buddy.

You will lose horsepower with a higher gear ratio. I didn't think it was anywhere near 20 horsepower, but I guess there can be other factors involved from dyno to dyno, etc.

Peace,
Josh

who gives a crap about losing power on the dyno if it's going to make the car way faster??? my car was 430+ rwhp as a 6spd, i put in a 400 trans and an unlocked converter w/ a steal driveshaft and only got 370 at the wheels........ but the car is .3 faster now w/ a relatively tight converter.

I've got the same came and stock 3.42 gears, and the car does not buck, surge or act up at all. Extremely low to extremely high RPM, the car drives like stock.

Just advising everybody that has this cam - it's not the cam thats making the car act up, its a bad tune.

i dont think the tune is bad considering it made 25 more hp then yours. the bucking is very minimal, pretty much a non issue, i daily drive the car. it only happens if you are idling in gear. put a hair pressure on the gas and its gone.

Looks like they straped your car down by running the strap through the rim?
