How much rwhp gain from a TR224 cam?

Default How much rwhp gain from a TR224 cam?

I just got a TR 224/224 112 lsa .563 lift cam and am putting it in this comming weekend. What kind of rwhp gain should I see? Friends are saying 50rwhp?

I gained 23rwhp @ 25rwtq with my TR224 over my previous 2002 LS6 cam 204/218 at peak. Area under the curve gained was impressive to say the least. I would say after a tune 40rwhp is very possible.

I would say around 30-40 with a good tune.

we have similar cams......

before H/C/I

323 rwhp

after H/C/I

400rwhp

so thats aprox. 75+rwhp gain and id say thats.....

heads +25
cam +35
LS6 +15

good luck... youll love that cam!

I'm at 335 rwhp 340rwtq now. I hope to see 385 rwhp and tq close to that.

I put down 384 and change after my cam install. I never had a baseline done, but I went from a best run of 12.74@113.85 to my current times in my sig. I'll take 3/10s and 3mph.
