383 FI Dyno

Well after getting to the shop. I was told the Dynojet wasn't working and all they had was a Mustang Dyno .

Even though the Mustang Dyno read lower, its actually better for tuning. Soo...........

I could only get 7# of boost. Not the 10-12 I was hoping for. (Time for a smaller blower pulley)
And running really rich 11:1. I ended up with:

550.5 RWHP - 505 RWTQ - 7# Mustang Dyno

And I have not even sprayed yet.

Does anyone make a smaller blower pulley than a 3.4?

pretty good number considerng boost and cam size for that motor.

Ed you are running a P1. with a 3.4? and seeing 7#?

FYI I am running a D1 with a 3.7 and see a good 8-9#, 5.7motor, stock cam except, ams though.
Any idea on how small you can go on a (8rib).

Yep a P1 with the SDCE tensioner and the 3.4 pulley. I have heard about a 3.2 pulley. Don't know if it is 8-rib.

Nice numbers considering your boost issues and your A/F ratio. That car will be a monster once everything gets worked out....not to mention spray on top of it

Yes initially, but it was caused by a loose belt or not enough belt wrap.

I finally got minimal slip, but the belt must be very tight, it must be a solid rib (no 'cogs' or notches), and full belt wrap on the blower and crank pulleys.
