Default STS Turbo GTO Dyno Results....

Graph here GRAPH

10psi with meth on 370ci and production 02+ LS6 cam w/918s, 9:1 comp, T60 turbo.

Next year, larger cam, larger turbo, more fuel, and broken driveline!

Any ideas why the power peaked so early?

I know for a traditional set up, a super T61 is the min for a 350 spinning to 6k, but for a 370 spinning to 6-6.5 ur going to need a T76.

AWSOME NUMBERS STILL!!

Bet its fun to drive.

I disagree. A 370ci motor only has an air requirement of 65lb/min. at 6,500 rpm. A t-64 (65 lb./min.) or T-66 (72 lb./min.)would be an adequate turbo for his application while still maintaining quick spool time.

IF he went twin, the two t-60's or t-61's would be perfect.

Sorry yes your right, my application needed the T76, but was alot more along then a stock 370.

Just took a look at the air demand and compressor map for the T76 and it looks like the 370 needs about 73 ppm for 6500 @10 psi and 90% VE. That plots below 60% compressor efficiency and near choke on the T76. How did you figure the 65 ppm, John? It is around 65 ppm at 7-8 psi and 6500, but still plots in the lower efficiency range on the map.

We must be looking at 2 seperate compressor maps as the one I'm looking at for a T-76 has a max. effeciency of 78% and max. of 93 lbs./min. ...maybe?

John, yeah, lol, that's what I thought! I got mine form Forced Inductions and it shows that at the lower boost 75 ppm is near choke. Of course, I could have screwed the pooch in my calcs. The map I have shows that the T76 flows 90+ at around 25 psi. At around 10-12 psi, it only can flow 70 or so at 60 % efficiency. That's why I was asking. The 60% means very hot air to me. Not arguing, just trying to figure out why we're not the same. Must be because it's happy hour. lol. Oh, well...

It's okay, between the two of us we should be able to figure it out.
