FM 13 Cam only numbers. Need opinions.
I just had my cam package installed today. My car is a 2001 Z06 with LT's w/
high flow cats, Vortex cold air intake, ported throttle body, and UDP.
It dynoed SAE corrected 400 hp 381 tq. Do these numbers seem about average? I was happy about the torque number but thought I would get a few more horses out of the cam. Any opinions?
I don't have a scanner to post graph at the moment.

Your cats, even though they are high flow, are probably holding you back more than an ORY would. I'd guess you'd put down 410-415 with a cutout, which is about what I'd expect. The stock LS6 heads aren't really that much better than LS1 heads, so I think you're about on track.

Good numbers, whats the a/f at? timing?
I went a hair over 400 and over 380 tq on my f14 with stock pulley, TB and pacesetters.

I just recently had Alan Futral tune mine and the numbers were 436rwhp 430rwtq.
2003 Zo6:
LS2
FM13
Kooks longtubes no cats
ZO6 catback
Vararam
I put a LS2 in it because the LS6 went kaboom.

I don't buy it that cats are holding you back that much.
On my car, when I swapped the Kooks catted y-pipe for open headers, no cats and 24" extensions, my power only increased from 472 to 478 rwhp...only a 6 rwhp gain. The rest of my gains were with EWP and short belt.
With Tony Mamo's C5, he only picked up 4 rwhp when he bypassed the cats.
I think you need to have lots more overlap than what the F-13 puts out before the cats cost you 15-20 rwhp. If you were running a T-Rex, then yes, I'd say you'd be down that kind of power. The T-Rex hates backpressure, but the F-13 shouldn't be as sensitive...I know my cam's not...and it's even more aggressive.

I only got 2-3 rwhp when I took mine (part of the LG system) off... smelled really bad, so I put them back on.....
