just a message i recieved to clarify my statements earlier
"1. It was a completely stock engine with 128k miles on it.
2. At a little over 600rwhp, the stock valvesprings wouldn't let the car rev much over 5000, so we changed to a set of Comp 921's and hardened pushrods. Other than that, the engine was 100% stock down to the ls1 intake and stock unported TB, and yes, stock rod bolts.
3. At that point, it made 792rwhp and I believe right at 950rwtq (not 100% certain on tq)
4. The car was full weight with the addition of a roll bar and 12 bolt rear end.
5. The trans was pretty worn out, and we were using a Spec Stg 5 clutch at the time. Which is why the easy launch and "granny shifting". (don't worry, I wasn't offended by your statement about my driving ) It still managed a 10.01 @ 137.xx with a 1.65 60ft, in 100 degree weather.
6. The head gasket eventually went, but the engine itself never missed a beat. The shortblock was still in perfect running condition when we took it out."
not starting wars but like i said i saw the car run. just sticking up for us turbo guys,

He used to drive his cars all the time on the street around here. I remember being in a SLOW 12.32 car when he was next to me. He would blip the throttle and just scream past me.
