Default Update after headers (stainless works)

Well my overall RWHP went from 393 to 408 and my RWTQ went from 363 to 385 so i was little dissapointed in it cause i was hoping for somewhere around 420-430 but i was really impressed with how it raised my HP/TQ pretty much from about 2500RPMs and up by about 20-25hp and 30-35tq. It seem to pull awesome through out the entire RPM range no dead spots anywhere and it never quits pulling so i am happy. hmm whats next..

Heres the graph Red was befor tune blue after tune.

I would think he would have picked up more from stock to headers with those mods.

I have not seen many dyno graphs start that low in the rpm range. Pretty cool. Seems like a nice gain in power you picked up.

was going to ask the same thing

393 rwhp with stock manifolds is a lot of power. I agree that the headers should have picked up more then 15 rwhp along with tuning based off your previous #'s.

If the A/F wasnt looked at then Ill go ahead and tell ya your way rich. I put shorties on my car and the A/F moved 1 full point rich and picked up another 7 or so after retune and mine is stock internal.

get a cut-out, pulley and you're set. Making the numbers you are through the full exhaust and cats is damn good, but with a cutout you'd pick-up a **** load IMO.

a cutout on the system prolly wont pick up much if anything. pulley, ported tb, if you have money an LSX90/90 will net you a nice gain on that. i think the pulley and tb together should get u 10-15.

You're crazy man. You do realize hes running a catted y into the gmmg. A h/c car needs to breathe as much as possible. Therefor, a cutout would be fantastic, aswell as a pulley and ported TB. FAST 90/90 would be superb.

Dont matter, they are still costing you a few ponies. Look at some other graphs where people pick up 10-15 by bypassing the catback with a cutout that are cam only or h/c cars. I realize the gmmg flows well, but its still not perfect.

I've seen high hp cars only car 1 rwhp with a cutout over the GMMG, magnaflow and LM, etc. He's not gonna put dual cutouts before the cats, and there just really isn't much to be gained by putting it downstream either. What are you gonna gain by bypassing a great flowing muffler like the GMMG? Maybe if he had a flowmaster or something. IMO, a ported TB and pulley are the way to go. That should be good for another 15+rwhp on that setup.
