Peaked at 6400 and power dropped off 50rwhp between 6400-6600, suspecting valve float. I'm contemplating changing the Patriot Springs for some Comp 921's and do more final tuning. The air/fuel was around 12.8:1 if I remember correctly. Sure is a stout running car to say the least.

nope i still have that cam. Brian has been working on this motor for a while. he has had his share of bad luck. i am glad to see him lay down some good numbers. there is more left in it though.

Brian-what cam specs and how did your heads flow. I`m building a 408 as we speak with A4 and all in my sig. Just trying to get some info. I`m going with a set of ET 245`s with a 200 shot!
Thats a really low number in my book.....JMO What are the numbers unlocked? I would think that with heads that flow that good and a cam that seems to be so secret would make more power than that. Again JMO. Not impressed at all.

we have some possible valve float issues with the current spring set-up. some spring changes are gonna be made and some more tuning done. hopefully better numbers are gonna show up. the motor is not done making power by far. we have a base line though.

Hey Brian I wasn't aware you got heads from us, knew you were talking to Brad about the possibility but did not know you actually did.
What other changes did you make besides the heads? Cause if all you changed were the heads I am impressed with the gains, cause if I recall correctly Brad told me the original number were not so hot, like 412rwhp. Either way nice numbers!
