Gained 40 rwtq & 38 rwhp with a dyno tune!!!
My mods: Lunati 236/236 .580 .580 -112 cam, Hooker/ORY, pulley, Shaner S3 throttle body, 160 stat, free mods, and 4.10 gears.
The A/F ratio using my Crane Cams handheld was at 10.1/1 on the baseline.
I went from 383hp to 421hp from ditching the Crane tune and putting in a custom dyno tune.
Before and After:

Yeah that Crane handheld was a fuggin' joke. I'm so glad I got it tuned properly. I think I'll go cruising tonight.
I was using almost a quarter tank of gas driving to the corner store and back!!!
The A/F ratio went from 10/1 to 12.8/1. They also cleaned up the hot & cold start-up issues.
I paid $475 for the tune, but that's the best performance gain yet for the money since buying the car. I'm happy.

I honestly think I'm going to save the cylinder head money and go for the D1 Procharger kit. That's been my plan all along and hopefully I can have that blower whine mixed in pretty soon.

They said on the phase III GMMG Dick Harrell cars (427 ci 600hp) they lose about 25 horsepower when heat soaked on the dyno.
He said I had about 5 left on the table heat soak alone, and then when I port match I should see another 5. Makes me wish I did all that and had ported heads.

I have a set-up in mind, but yes I should have 460rwhp N/A. However the torque doesn't move much. Once you hit roughly 400rwtq N/A that's about it untill you add inches or some sort of power-adder.
I'm thinking Procharger D1, 6.0 Escalade heads, cam in the 230 range on 114, upgraded rod bolts, Racetronics fuel fump w/60# injectors and that should last until I can forge the bottom end (I want a 382)

I was there last night and saw the cars. They had some kind of get together before the F-Body meet today. I'm going to have them retune my car now that I have the FAST90 on it.

Congrats on the MAJOR gain from your dyno tune. Thank you for validating what I have been saying in some of the comments I have posted. A good tune goes a long way. I picked up 13 rwhp and 11 rwtq by by leaning out fror 12.6 to 1 to 12.8 to 1, so I absolutely believe what you are telling the group. 10 to 1 a/f ratio is so rich I should call you Bill Gates. Anyways thanks for sharing, and congrats on the easy pickup of hp/tq. Let us know how much faster it is, how much gas you are saving at almost $3 a gallon. Later.
