382 YSi build
382 ci, Custom Ross pistons 8.7:1 CR, Edelbrock CNC'd 215cc heads, 224/230 on 115LSA cam, 1.7 YT rockers.
Stock LS6 intake and TB.
Custom YSi bracketry + 12 rib drive ( belt wrap isnt great though, but its working great so far )
It was making 15psi at 6000rpm, through a DIY built intercooler
These runs were in approx 93 degF ambient temps, with charge temps around 104 max
97 RON pump fuel only ( should be equivalent to your U.S. 93 PON fuel )
This is on a Dynapack hub dyno. I did have some issues getting a smooth run, as around 4500rpm, the dyno had a habit of going daft, possibly due to the torque, and my Torsen diff doing strange things ??? This run was with less timing, which produced a smooth curve with no problems.
It was like the diff was cycling drive left to right etc causing the dyno to go nuts.
It was a Dynapack 3000, which units are rated at around 400hp each
Runs were in 5th gear, as 4th exceeded the dyno's torque ratings.
AFR's were pretty consitent 11.0-11.5 throughout at WOT

I'll be adding a carb intake soon, and a Snow kit, so hopefully things will improve.
I did run a new personal best of 11.05 @ 138.66mph on Sunday.
That was in soaring 86degF temps, not a cloud in the sky. Intake temps on some runs pushed as high as 170degF
Traction is still a problem for me though. Widest tyre I can run is a 245, and I am using Nitto 245/50x16"
The 255's will NOT fit

oh yea get those IATs down, perhaps you are not getting good airflow to your intercooler?
On the road, temps rarely rise about 20degF from ambient. Even on the dyno they stayed within 20-25degF of Ambient, so I'm not too concerned at the minute.
Snow Kit should take care of heat soak temps anyway when I get it.
Race wight is about 3620lbs.

I did 5 runs with 138+ terminals, and virtualy all runs were 136+
I didnt try shifting to 5th. That may or may not help the terminals, as I was crossing the line at around 6500/6600rpm, and it wasnt pulling as strongly up there as I'd like.
I might consider switching back to a 3.27 rear end over the current 3.55

I am 99% certain 255's wont fit without major work and I am not prepared to start cutting those areas of the car needed to fit larger tyres.
Plus, isnt a dynopak load bearing or just hard to get accurate numbers???? If so, Any Chassis or stang dynos near you????
Meant to also say that PSJ had pretty damn good results w/ his YSI setup, hp and ET & MPH!!!! 9.4@nearly 144mph

There are no decent dyno facilitys near me at all. I'd have to travel to England or Scotland, and also drive 2-300 miles each way.
A graph wasnt really what I was after anyway. I just wanted to play with the timing a little, to find a safe baseline to start from, as it is only a new engine.
It was surprising, that even trimming from -4deg to + 4deg from where I started really didnt make a huge difference to torque levels.
Timing in the mid range is circa 20deg
