Default Got my 2001 automatic Trans Am dynoed last week. How do these numbers look?

I just got my 2001 automatic Pontiac Trans Am dynoed on a Dyno Jet dyno last week. It is a bone stock 3.23 geared car right down to the air filter and exhaust. I made two pulls. My best pull was 296.1 rwhp 318.4 torque SAE numbers. My STD numbers were 302.6 325.3. I would like to know if these are decent numbers for my car. Also, how much would I get if I installed a SLP lid and a Hooker catback exhaust. Thanks

Looks good man, how many miles on the engine? With the exhaust and the lid, probably 20 or so rwhp. Headers would do you better with the lid and exhaust, you'd see more than 20rwhp difference from those mods easy.

Looks like normal numbers to me. My 98 only did 285/306 stock with 30k on it.

i did 312/333 with lid and LM with about 17,000KM. your numbers sound right to me. i have the same 3.23 gears.

i would say you would get around 10 more hp with lid and exhaust.

Those numbers are right on the mark for an A4. Especially with the mileage. Now head to the drag strip and see what that power can do

This may sound like a dumb question, but how can you tell when you get your car dynoed if they are SAE vs. STD numbers. What would the dyno sheet look like??

My 98 made 285/303 stock... sounds about right... Now get a Lid/Catback and a stall. Then you can roast the tires like you've never done before..

Sounds good to me man! I didnt ever dyno mine stock, but with a lid and a cutout it did 316/341 with an auto 2, so you should be around the same with those 2, maybe better cause of the LS6 intake.
