lol, think you might mean dyno, as in an abbreviation of dynometer.

Actually .. it's a dynamometer. Most just say it "dynometer". Either way, we all know what you're talking about ... it's all good!

Comparing my dyno #'s to yours .. doesn't say much for my cam .. or your LT/exhaust is just that good!

Either way .. good #'s!

Good Numbers I'm sure the pick up in torque is nice.

We can bench race all we want I think dyno numbers should be taken to compare modifications in the same car and not to cross compare. What's your elevation and was this on a mustang dyno or a Dynojet? For example My car dynoed strong with 332.3 rwhp and 344.2 rwtq with just a lid, filter, smooth bellow and 160 stat. I put an ORY and a Borlamouth and the car dynoed 348.7 rwhp and 357.6 rwtq still through the stock manifolds. I'll let you know what it will pull once it is cammed in a few weeks.

Dynojet.

Not sure of the elevation .. it was in Raleigh, NC so, .. it can't be more than a couple hundred feet. Outside air temp was in the high 80's.

Also .. his car being an M6 would account for the high dyno numbers, if comparing mods per hp/tq to mine.

I just think those are real good numbers for those mods .. in any car.

Sounds like your cam is havin trouble breathing. You still running stock headers/intake?

Some LTs and an LS6/ Fast 90/90 should net you some pretty nice gains if you already have the cam.

mainly I wanted to get a starting point for when I decide to get more work done. still trying to decide what to spend the next tax rebate on... cam or supercharger. probably a Supercharger, for more daily driverability then an equil power cam.

the shop that I had it dyno'd was just as surprised with the numbers too. he said the QTPs had a slight bottleneck after the collecctors and open back up... the funny shape may help scavange. may. whatever it was, we did 3 pulls to make sure.

you can see photos of the exhaust at www.hybridmuscle.com btw.

but yea... went out with the wife for lunch... "lets do a quick dyno pull" I say. 2.5 hours ad 250 for tune time later, the computer is tuned. I am happy... and we end up going to the jewelry store after lunch...

must... appease... the... wife...
