lol, that DA is actually GOOD for this time of year. It floats at 9000ft in the summer heat.

We've been having a lot of rain so it's been really cool at night. High 60's low 70's and the baro is up too.

Your right Term, there wasn't any track prep. Mark said something about a pump being broken. Probably the pump for the VHT.

So are we going to head out to Roswell? Real track prep and 4000ft DA .

Frank, did you ever run your car on radials? if so, when you went to the e/t's did you pick up a little trap?

Radials, Nittos and E/T's

No, I think it actually dropped a little. IIRC 2mph but I think tire pressure plays a part in that and if you dead hook or can get the tires to spin a little off the line (actually a good thing). FWIW I was able to dead hook on ET's at 30psi launching at 6.2k. I did it as an experiment.

But the fun part is hooking, ETs drop like a rock. I think you have the 12.5 by just cleaning up that 60'.

October
13th T-N-T Grudge Night
27th T-N-T Grudge Night/ 28th

Thats their schedule, I'm heading out the 13th assuming nothing comes up and have the 27th as a backup date. I'll be trucking my car out there.

It's not pathetic, it's what we have to live with.

Joe

I'm marking my calender for the 13th. I'll post up on the local board and see if anybody else is interested in making the trek.

No kidding. I'd love to run with some of you guys and see the cars in person. TRMIN8R you definitely need to run at some better DA, I'd think your car would trap 120+ easily @ a lower altitude & about 30 degrees cooler. And I thought running here in our 100 degree heat sucked!

in the right DA i would assume you could hit 130mph on bottle especially after seeing some of the cars you ran in your vids.
did you ever get your rear end in the car? if so i would really like to see your after dyno numbers.

At sea level in cooler weather I'd think you'd be able to hit 122 n/a and even 135 on the juice. That car is making some crazy power!

Best motor run was 12.21@112 1.8 60'

Any weight reduction mods?
What was your race weight?

Not too ,uch weight reduction. I removed the front and rear bumper supports, the front sway bar, and back seats. I also have slicks and skinnies. But I do have 2 amps and a sub in a stealth box. Not sure of weight.

Car probably weighs 3300 lbs with your 9" plus whatever you weigh.
