Default Dyno results. Custom cam/mild port heads

Mods - Heads/cam, FAST 90/NW, Edelbrock headers with true duals dumped, lid, FTRA. The heads are just ported 241s by a local guy. Patrick G helped me with the cam specs...236/242 on a 110+2 using XER lobes. I plan on adding some higher dollar headers and port matching the FAST later down the road, but this'll do for now. Won't be able to drive the car for a couple weeks, it's being shipped to me in HI.

The heads are unmilled, no flyingcutting. Not sure on the head specs, like I said they're just ported 241s done by a local guy. I used MLS .060 gaskets.

I'm already on there. I'm trying to find a shop that will pass me on the safety inspection without too much trouble before the car gets here in a few weeks.

I can't wait to get some better heads myself. These were about $400 bare, but I think I can still pick up a bit more power with different heads and porting the 90, and a few other minor things I haven't done yet. Need mo money though.

I wouldn't change a thing on that combo after seeing the dyno graph. If you NEED more, I'd just hit it with a 100shot and call it a day.

I have tried to figure the TORQUE # at 3000rpm printing the graph through a big scale, I am totally amazed :

Result is I find those a LOT OVER THE TORQUE # OF PATRICK G who is one of the highest I ever recorded for a 346ci.

WHERE IS THE MAGIC IN THIS NEW COMBO ??

AND IT IS ALSO SO CHEAP (then good to go!!)..... compare to others so elaborated.

IVC seems to be at 48* and SCR : 10.6 and DCR 8.05

Some one to clear my thought or to help me understand where I make the mistake ???

GREAT results with unmilled and ported 241's!!! I bet you'd be doing even better if you had some AFR's, or TFS. Milled and a thinner gasket. Probably need to flycutt if you did what I just said, and you might sacrifice some of that TQ just to make more HP.

I spent a lot of money and only came in at 473 rwhp and 431 rwtq. My goal had been 500 rhwp and 445 rwtq, obviously I missed the mark. A ported 90 Fast and 90 mm TB would make a difference, but not enough.

Again great results. I would love to run against you sometime if we were in the same area. Post a video of your beast in action. I really want to hear her screaming in a drive by. Can't wait........for the vids.
