Ive seen plenty of A4 cars with small 224 cams with heads make 400 rwhp with and LS6 manifold and stock TB. they say the 90/90 is good for 20-25 rwhp depending on your set-up. I would stick with the 224 to see if you get the numbers you want and if you dont then go bigger.

I would say your best guess would be to ask around to see what power other people put down with that similar set-up.

I made 420 with a 238 cam, 403ci LS2, fast 90/90 and a vig 4000 stall unlocked. This was through an auto and a 9in with 370 gears. Granted I made around 550 RWTQ as well.
So I guess I would say it's possible, I just think it's going to be tough.
About the 224 cam. I had one of them at first. Not bad for a first cam. Then I went to a 232 cam and now I have a 238 cam, but that's because of more cubic inches.

I have a fm-13 and a 3600 yank with ported stock heads. I haven't been on the dyno, but it runs high 12's @3600ft with shitty 2.4 60fts. I drive it everyday also. I wouldn't worry about going to a larger cam if you wanted to.

no im not worried about a larger cam for drivability issues, its the fact that i shift at 6k rpms. would it be worth it to go bigger or would it be a waste. i mean i know that im short shifting with a 224 a 6k. would i still make more power in the rpms im using if i go bigger as oppsed to the 224?

Check out the numbers in my sig. Since you have long tubes and a cutout you'll prolly make more. 420 is possible, and if you don't get it with the 90/90 throw on an electric water pump.

My M6 car did what it did with the parts listed below. No FAST. No cut-out. Stock TB.
