Angry Just Got Back From The Dyno

WELL.. i must say im very disapointed with my numbers.... its was on a dynojet.. 91 degrees outside. and 24% humidity.. my car is an auto, 2000 ls1 no !egr,!a.i.r, jet hot LT's, cutom ORY, 3in cutout, magnaflow catback, lid & filter, msd wires.. just changed the plugs and oil... stock tuning... now they told me that im running dagerously lean, and the dyno shows it. hopefully with a tune ill see much better numbers.. i mean i got horrible numbers..like if i was an lt1 or something..
here are the numbers and graph... 279 max hp, & 315 max tq

Might be something wrong with your MAF or whacked L-Trims because your A/F ratio is really off. The stock tune should compensate much more than that. Before you get it tuned, you need to make sure your other critical components (MAF, MAP sensor, O2 sensors) are in perfect working condition. A tune will not fix fubar'd sensors.

Way too lean. Don`t hurt it! Get a tune fast and she will pick some power up. Was the converter locked or unlocked? That could be why your numbers are even lower(unlocked)

For us A4`s we will dyno low with the converter unlocked. You would gain maybe 20-35whp locking it. Like he said earlier, check all these and look into a good tune. Leaning it out could give you another 10rwhp or more.

Thats unlocked but with a stock converter the #'s don't change much.I would bet there is a dirty MAF in there.

There is actually a cleaner that is designed just for cleaning maf's they sell it at napa and i am sure other places as well. Its different then carb and brae cleaner and different then the electrical cleaning stuff they always try to sell. It says like 4-10 hp gain on the front of the bottle. Might be worth a try.

even with the AF tunned back in to spec, your not going to magicly have a 350HP car, its a stock LS1 with an Auto... you will be lucky with only having exhaust done to break the 310-320 HP mark with your few mods. Hell, be happy if you get it over 300.

Descreening will jack with your A/F ratio initially, but your L-Trims will compensate for it. I would not recommend attempting to put a stock screen back in. Just clean the wires, do a pcm reset and let the computer relearn your combination. Once everything is back on track, then get the car tuned.
