It's funny, the pages load up fast as hell on my computer with no pop ups. Maybe you need to invest in some software.

Has anyone done a side by side comparison on their new Fbody 1 7/8 headers with ORY so we can see if there are any differences in power between the 2 header designs taking out the cat flow variable.

I know American Racing Headers is new to the F-Body world but man are they kicking *** with Corvettes. Seems they've really got there act together. I really love the look of there F-body systems. Can't wait to get feedback. Should be interesting to say the least.

I have changed from Kooks to American Racing headers.
They fit better & made a lot more power threw the hole RPM range.
Peek HP was 15 better & Tq was 12.
Nick was a great guy to deal with.
Much more so then the George R @ Kooks

Do you know where I can go to check them out? Everything I search is Corvette stuff. Thanks man.

[QUOTE=2c5s]Higher flowing cats, better x-pipe location, longer primary tubes and a real merge collector. Easy
fricken install
and they cost less.

Nice gains but maybe I'm missing something here. You say REAL merge collector. Didn't your Kooks headers have a merge collector on them?

with out a a/f on both headers this is useless beet the kooks were out of tune. We tested these on a 408 on a dynojet 224x they failed miserably they made 30hp less then kooks we tryed both sets 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 kooks were 1 3/4. Love to see the power increase to you package with a Set of Kook's headers on there being they make the best power and prove it at the track.

looks like you lost up to 50 lbs of torqe in the 3500-5000 rpm range. this comparison seems to be useless if the kooks werent tuned to your application and the american racing were.
ill post up some real numbers in a few weeks on what headers do to a 403 once added, before and after dyno's will be with in 24 hours. im running stock cast manifolds, cats and stock h-pipe on my 403 for right now. it hasnt seen a dyno yet.

That makes a lot more sense than George saying that one header lost 30hp over another.

2c5s, the results would have been more accurate if a tune was done with the Kooks headers, the a/f is around 13.25-14.0 almost the whole time while the American Racing header tune was just about perfect.

The American Racing look like good headers, and the merge collectors make it a worthwhile swap over the Kooks.
