I will say this, if the dyno numbers are legimate and the car runs 133+ at the track there will be no reason to buy any other head on the market.

If you GB guys want to continue harassing a vendor here, we can make your accounts suddenly quit working properly.

Awesome numbers Ron. Keep up the good work. How much different would the numbers be with say the 228 230 cam? If i am not mistaken didnt you guys already do a setup with that cam and the TFS heads? If so what were the numbers again? Thanks

LOL

He already said it was 239/242. What more do you need? The gains are more from the heads than anything else.

i've seen this same cam in other threads whored as a 240/244 112 lsa...

obviously a stout cam that they are purposely slipping different numbers for...for good reason.

i believe these heads are on a 13.5* angle, which increases ptv on the stock bottom, correct? i'd like to see a set of the 225s with a 250 108 lsa cam in an fe block 6.0

"Purposely"? You're kidding. Right?

They've done so many different grinds lately, and with the number of cars they've built recently, it would take a CPA to keep up w/all the variations.

More like an honest misquote if indeed there are two different published specs for the same cam.

For those that don't, can't, or won't believe.... why are you wasting your time in threads filled w/pixie dust?

I can truely appreciate the old saying "believe nothing you hear, and only half of what you see", but this vendor doesn't need to lie to anybody to make a sale.... and they don't- the numbers at the track have been speaking for themselves.

Have a nice day!

Im sorry to have confused you... Let me clarify... The camshaft in this car is a VRX1 239/242 camshaft... We have since upgraded to a slightly larger camshaft we call the "Vindicator" and it is a 240/244... Not a huge difference, but I hope this clears things up a bit.

Not sure about the "whoring" you speak of, but I hope the above clears the air

Heads are 215cc heads that were "cleaned up" by us.. I would be willing to bet we could use box stock heads and make with 10 to 15rwhp of this setup.

As for the correction factor, it was 1.00 or 1.01.. Ill have to check to verify... The graph is legit. Our customer stood here while we made the pull, along with several other on lookers... We have no reason to inflate #s if we cant duplicate them......

If someone wants to step up to the plate Im quite confident we can make the same power out of a different vehicle. This is simply a well put together package.

BTW, thanx for all of the positive comments.

What all did you do to the heads to "clean" them up?

To be honest, we've seen these 500rwhp/440rwtq vengence results for a little over a year. So you got this one right.

What some of us where saying, is "back in the day" - people were happy to have 400rwtq out of 346 to 350 cubic inches out of a street motor...

500rwhp was thought to have to be spun to 7000rpm plus with super high compression on race gas.

The vengence results, which I believe are true - were basically "impossible" or thought of as "impossible" on a street motor 3 years ago and more. Never the less 5 years ago.

Think about it in 1999, one would be happy to have 500rwhp out of a vortech S trim supercharged 302 which was pretty hopped up... Today you are getting more TQ and HP out of a street motor.

Was what I was saying.

Lets really bring this back from the dead. I am going to buy the same package from Vengeance, unless they recommend something a little different next week. Then after I install it I will have it dyno tuned locally here in Fresno CA. I don't know the model they have but a local shop has a Dynojet. I want to go fast, and they obviously know what they are doing!
