I had that cam before my Trex with a 3200 converter with 1 chambers it went 11.90's and drove sweet!

Got the cam and timing chain from Scoggin Dickey. SDPC is a sponsor on this board and a great company to deal with!

because the cam has a smaller base circle than stock, so the extra length ensures proper lifter preload which will keep the valvetrain quiet. This is why a lot of guys running stock 7.4's have a noisy valvetrain that sounds like a sewing machine.

Man thats awesome! I'd love to get mine out there, but I need a new clutch and I'm starting to get a few DTC's that I need to figure out first

Get some pics up! When you get the video, open the hood and give us a good listen to the valvetrain.

looks ok but it took you to around 4,300 RPM's to get to 300hp. Is that bad?

That cam makes a beautiful TQ curve, and is just downright SICK if you ever put nitrous to it!

Bone stock ls6 heads (gonna get them ported later)
tts longtubes w/ custome offroad Y
ls6 intake
powerbond
lid
cutout
Tune by HPE

Car made 400rwhp and 385rwtq

Got the ASA cam put in my car and pulls nicely from the lil bit i have got on it.

My mods are

ASA Cam
Hedman Longtubes
Custom 3" Y pipe (catless)
GMMG Cat back
Yank 3600 Stall
MTI Lid

Hope to get LS6 intake ported MAF and TB and maybe a set of LS6 heads on before i dyno it.
