Default Trickflow 215 Heads and Vette Doctors custom cam results.

My car is done and I just arrived back in the carribean (was on break for holidays) to start this semester of MD school. Only got to drive her 1 day Ill be back in a month for a short break and this season and summer should be awesome

BUT DAMM what a setup! Car is a monster.

2003 ZO6
215 Trickflow Heads w/ assembled dual springs etc.
Vette Doctor "to be announced" Custom Cam
Harland Sharp Rockers
TPIS Longtubes w/ Dr. Gas X pipe
Halltech intake
GHL Catback exhaust.

Stock LS6 Intake manifold, Stock LS6 TB, Stock pullies and belts, everything else STOCK that I havent said. Even the clutch, didnt make it in time (damm spec!). I wonder if that made any difference in power?
Rainy day with horrible humidity in NY yesterday.
Eitherway I was very pleased with the results.

498rwhp 427rwtq

There was also a 491 in there, also a 479(first pull with very little tuning if any)

Id like to thank the Vette Doctors for specing out such a great cam for my setup and building/tuning such a beast. Thank you Carmen, Dennis, Joey and Pete.
Id like to thank Brian Tooley who I heard had ALOT to do with designing these heads!
Also Id like to thank ECS for having the trickflow 215 heads in stock and letting me pick them up from the shop while they are closed, Saturday right before the holidays. Very much appreciated. Thanks Doug

Id also like to thank summit racing for raping me with prices with overnight shipping but getting the parts IN TIME which was key (rockers, and trickflow pushrods).

Car drives great, it was damp out yesterday in NY so I really couldnt get on it but got a idea of the manners and its definetly can be DD which I intend to when I am back.

Mid range around 3500-4k is a nice hit but uptop 5k+ its absolutely retarded. I got nowhere close to redline because of the weather which totally blew! . My friend took a few clips of idle and I should have them soon. Car is pretty damm loud but sounds very good and I absolutely love it.

Nitrous #s and track times to come this spring.

these are corrected numbers? damn...if so, i think this particular engine would be getting close to a stock bottom end 346 n/a record with a 90/90 and some more tuning.

That cam must be HUGE !!!! What did they do stuff .620/.620 250/250 cam in there??? That kind of power is making me guess huge cam lift on the intake and exhaust side, and a ton of duration. Over size valves??? CONGRATS on all that power.

Please post specs on that cam ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dying to know...............Thanks.

Vette Dr's seem to get some amazing results!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lots of know how in that shop.

Awsome to hear of the results. Carmen called me right when he was done and was very happy.

The cam specs aren't as big as you would think. It isn't as big as some of the other cams that people are using on a regular basis. I'll say it is smaller then a T-Rex and very drivable.

Wow, that much power with a LS6 intake? That is CraZee!

I think the heads were milled to ECS specs also.

Enjoy that beast!

Thanks guys!

Yeah stock ls6 intake.
I am not too sure if the heads are milled, Id like to know myself. I really dont think much if any?
Out of respect to Vette Doctors I cannot release cam specs but it is NOT bigger than any other stage 3 cam. All comparable to ms3, g5x3 type around 600 lift.

Really? I was told that it was a little bigger than the MS3 which makes it bigger than a G5X3, but smaller than the TRex.

I do not know what his cam specs are but I do run the TFS 215 heads and my Z28 runs 1/8 - 6.86 @ 99.59, 1/4 - 10.80 @ 124.32 in 320ft DA. I do not have dyno numbers.

Great numbers CraZee ZO6!

John

Gears: Stock 3.42's car will see juice so I think I should stick with the stock gear.
