UPDATE: L92 408 results....new camshaft.
Well, like we said we would, we changed the camshaft. Its a very slight change, not giant, but got us what we wanted. Second times a charm.
We first started off with about 491hp and 494tq with the last cam, and now we are about 520 and 512tq. Not bad for a cam change. Enjoy.
Rick

I don't know whats better: that I got a few extra hundred rpm that I I wanted... or the fact that I have minimal additional lope
Thanks Rick job well done. I was at work earlier when you called so it really didn't dawn on me what you had told me until I got home and saw this.

Awesome numbers! I am building a setup with a similar cam, but I am at 10.5:1 instead (unfortunately I bought this rotating assembly almost a year ago when the L92 was just on the horizon). Hopefully I can get close to what you have accomplished here.

Absolutely love it!! Did anyone else notice where the peak was? 6 grand outstanding!!! I think this really goes to show what these heads are capable of with the right cam. Congratulations dame, I hope you bought stock in a tire company, because you damn sure have a shredder on your hands!!

WAY to go Rick!
Congrats Dame,.....wow you have learned a LOT the hard way glad it's paying off.
Rick,
Reading over the other threads I was originally thinking that a 114LSA would get the goals nailed down (driveability and tq across the PB). I did not think such a small change would be enough, but I may have been wrong. I can't wait to hear the bottle numbers.
How aggressive is the lobe profile Rick, would others consider it lazy?
I would still like to see what a 114LSA, 2 1/8" headers and increased volume for the rest of the exhaust would do to it.
That's what a sleeper should be like. Again, great job!
