Question anyone w/ dyno #'s using G5X3, G5X4, MS4 + Heads post up!!!

anyone have dyno results with using any of the 3 cams listed the G5X3, G5X4, & MS4 with the Trick Flow or AFR heads? with your #'s right down what mods you have.

its going to be anywhere in the 430-500range dependong on the heads

03 Z06, AFR 205s 59cc, G5X3, LG headers, Fast 90, LS2 TB, 160 t-stat, tuned. Everything else stock.

The guy I bought my motor from made 463rwhp & 414rwtq on a mustang dyno with through a 12 bolt. I should have some numbers from a dynojet this month. Check my sig for the mods.

I have a cam thats a little smaller.
23x/24x 600 lift on a 113

Trickflow 215 heads
made 498rwhp 427rwtq

stock ls6 intake and stock pullies.

I'm wondering the same thing, I have the G5x4 cam already and I'm trying to decide if I can swing the money for a set of TFS heads. But I don't want to spend $2,000+ and not make a big difference. Car only made 412rwhp 2yrs ago with 10bolt and 4.10's, but now has S60 and 4.56's. I was hoping to make at least 450rwhp at the minimum.

with my AFR 205s, 90/90, X4, kooks 1 3/4 etc.. I made 463/415. I thought that was on the low side but whatever. Im twin turbo now

well i'm kinda on the poor side right now, so a twin turbo setup or any FI setup is out of the question for a long time. anyways I don't think TFS heads are even gonna be in the budget, because I think it would be a half decent idea to get injectors and pushrods as well, so I'm leaning towards the TSP ls6 Stage 1 heads at the time being because of price. Plus not quite sure if the TFS heads will clear or not with the X4, I think it would but not possitive on this. I sure as hell would love a set of ETP's or TFS heads though.

I had the g5x3,and x4 cam both with AFR 205 heads. I was on a mustang dyno. X3 cam ls6 intake,1 3/4 kooks fullexhaust,12bolt,m6 stock th-body stock massair. 425.3hp@6,400 387.4tq@4,900rpm's.
x4 cam and stock F.A.S.T Intake 90mm,a GM truck 85mm massair. 456.9hp@6,500 400.5tq@5,000rpm's closed cutout. Open cutout 463.6hp@6,600rpm's 414.8tq@4,900rpm's. All these #'s were on a ls1 346ci motor 11.1.0 compression with forged pistons and rods. On a T.N.T 150shot of spray I got 590hp and 600tq. I'm glad I kept my old dyno sheets.hope this helps ya.

Old thread back from the dead. Check LG Motorsports website for G5X3, G5X4 results with AFR 205s. You will see quite a few dynos in the 480-510 rwhp range. For Trick Flow numbers, check the Vengeance website or do a search. Their Vindicator cam is very similar in valve events to the G5X4 and the MS4. You will see half a dozen heads/cam dynos over 500 rwhp.

g5x3vII cam, afr 205 heads 59cc, ported 90 fast, ported 90 NW t/b, Lg Pro Longtube headers, asp ud pully, meziere ewp all added up to 490 rwhp 445 rwtq.

anyone know or not if the TFS heads and G5x4 will clear or not? This is my biggest concern really, I know its up to me ultimately to check it in the end, just wondering before hand. I wasn't planning on milling them at all.
