No prob, I've been trying to figure out how to get that done for a while anyway, but I never really tried, lol.

The dyno does read a bit low compared to some of the local dynojets, but we aren't really worried about big numbers in our line of work, rather a repeatable, consistent set of numbers on which to base our gains.
Last time I had my car on a local dynojet it laid down 325rwhp with an LS1 intake on it. When I took it up to Diablo to get it tuned after I did the LS6 intake, I left with 323...but it picked up over 2 mph in the 1/4.
To hell with the dynos, mph is the real answer!
BTW, did Josh tell you what his Vette made on our dyno...
Speaking of which you're probably looking at some pretty healthy trap speeds yourself.
Keep us posted...

I knew exactly what Josh's car would make on your dyno and his numbers only proved my -15whp/-15wtq theory as my previous setup was down exactly 15 as well...

Regardless his car is nasty.....He ordered some new goodies for it. They will installed in the coming weeks...

I hope to have some nasty strip numbers, but only time and my driving ability will tell....

Hey, where are you guys located? I see that you were on Diablo's Dyno which I assume means in Delray Beach. Send me a PM if you are planning on going to Moroso anytime soon. I will be there this Friday trying to break into the 10's on motor with my new suspension tweaks. I was there today but got rained out.

Hi Alan,

With your engine now certainly more free than during your initial dyno session, your 402 combo with the "small" ETP 215 Heads and a camshaft initially design for a 346Ci would be around 530rwhp and 510 rwtq on a dynojet...
I guess easy to drive around town and strong at the strip?

That's really a strong "all around" one!!!

The car is getting prepped for some nitrous as we speak. It has made 520-530whp/495-500wtq on a couple dyno's.

Best pass at the track is 10.6@132mph. The car has bested a 133mph pass as well. It's a beast...

Hi Dougie,

Thanks for the updates,

To summarize, with 1 3/4 LG Headers, ETP 215 3.90 bore, a small cam for a 402 according to the standard on this board this ZO6 trapped 133mph in I guess a 2000DA... (I heard her best was a 134mph na in 2200+DA...wow...)

No baby game there!

Christian

Wow guys.....Thanks for the love!

The car has gone a best of 132mph/102mph(1/8th) in +2000 DA and has ET'ed 10.64 on multiple passes with a slipping Tex Exo-Skel!

My standalone is in and ready for the 150 shot, but I need to get this clutch worked out.

Unfortunately, our track will be closing for a full on renovation so i won't have a new tiemslip until later this year.....

I'm looking for one sinlge digit slip....All I need is one!

Props on the mad skills getting everything that you can out of that M6. You seem to have the launch worked out real well. I was very impressed with your passes that I saw a few weeks back.

It's a good thing that they are finally shutting this track down and redoing it. It has been due for a few years now.

Regards,
Los

Hey Los, thanks for the props! Believe it or not my mph was down quite a bit because my damn clutch was slipping.....It really reared it ugly head on the way home! I guess that explains why the car was trapping so low that night....

Next trip to the track will be on the sauce as the standalone is in and this clutch issue will be resolved...

Alan
